OIC chief in Dhaka

Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Secretary General Hissein Brahim Taha arrived in Dhaka on Saturday.

Wahida Ahmed, Director General (International Organisations) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Islamic University of Technology Vice-Chancellor Dr Mohammad Rafiqul Islam welcomed the OIC Secretary General at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

During the visit, the OIC Secretary General will pay a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday.

He will also meet Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen.

As the Chancellor of the Islamic University of Technology, the OIC Secretary General will join the 35th Convocation of the IUT to be held on May 30. He will also visit the Rohingya Camps.
