Youth dies under CU shuttle train

A 30-year-old man was crushed under the wheels of a Chittagong University shuttle train in Hathazari of Chattogram on Wednesday.

The deceased was Md Yeasin, son of Ataur Rahman of Paharika Residential Area of Fatehpur union.

Witnesses said Yeasin boarded the city-bound shuttle train from the university station at 2:30pm.

Accidentally he fell on the train tracks and was crushed under the wheels when the train started to run, they said. Doctors at Chittagong Medical College Hospital declared him dead upon arrival.
