Govt closes Schools, colleges for heat wave today

All Primary, secondary schools and colleges across the country will remain closed today due to the ongoing heat wave.

The government on Wednesday decided to shut down all secondary schools and colleges across the country today (Thursday) due to the severe heat wave.

The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) issued a notice in this regard on

Wednesday as the Met office earlier said that the prevailing heat wave is likely to continue further for the next five to six days over the country.

Earlier on Sunday, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education announced the closure of all government primary schools till Thursday due to the same reason.
