Bangladesh on Saturday registered 220 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, while the daily infection rate stood at 5.56 per cent.
With the fresh infections, the total caseload reached 20,07,119, according to the daily virus update by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The country at the same time recorded two more Covid-related deaths, pushing the toll to 29,304.
Meanwhile, 545 patients recovered from the infection, rising the overall recovery to 19,47,307.
The health authorities reported the latest figures after testing 3,959 samples at 880 laboratories across the country.
On Thursday, the positivity rate was 5.06 per cent.
