Bangladesh on Saturday recorded 100 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, while the daily infection rate stood at 4.42 per cent.
The health authorities reported the latest figures after testing 2,265 samples at 880 laboratories across the country.
On Friday, the test positivity rate was 3.37 per cent.

In the 24-hour span, the country recorded no new Covid-related death. The total fatalities from the pandemic so far remained unchanged at 29,315.
With the fresh infections, the total caseload reached 20,09,797, according to the daily virus update by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Meanwhile, 257 patients recovered from the infection over the last 24 hours, pushing the overall recovery to 19,53,368.
Bangladesh reported its first cases on March 8, 2020, and the first coronavirus-related death on March 18 of the same year.
