Bangladesh on Friday registered 11 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, while the daily infection rate stood at 0.55 per cent.
The health authorities reported the latest figures after testing 1,986 samples at 885 laboratories across the country.
On Thursday, the test positivity rate was 0.40 per cent.
With the fresh infections, the total caseload reached 20,37,904, according to the daily virus update by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The country recorded zero Covid-related death in a 24-hour span, keeping the tally at 29,445.
Meanwhile, 150 patients recovered from the infection, pushing the overall recovery to 20,06,433.
Bangladesh reported its first cases on March 8, 2020, and the first coronavirus-related death on March 18 of the same year.
