The country on Tuesday recorded one more death from dengue in 24 hours, pushing the death toll from the mosquito-borne disease to 267 this year.
During this period, 220 more patients were hospitalised, among them 108 in Dhaka city, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The latest death was reported from the Dhaka division, taking the death toll in the division to 167.
Of the total 994 dengue patients who are receiving treatment at hospitals across the country, 514 are from Dhaka.
The DGHS has recorded 60,742 dengue cases and 59,481 recoveries so far this year.
