Zero dengue death after 34 days

366 more people were hospitalised with dengue in the 24 hours till Monday morning.

Of them, 210 were admitted to the hospitals of Dhaka and 156 outside it, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total fatalities remained unchanged at 247 as no death was reported during this period.

Bangladesh has last seen zero deaths on October 25, 2022.

Eighteen hundred and thirty-seven dengue patients, including 1,084 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.

On June 21, the DGHS reported the first death of the season from the viral disease.

The DGHS has recorded 56,496 dengue cases and 54,412 recoveries so far this year.
