Bangladesh on Sunday registered 46 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, while the daily infection rate was found to be 1.00 per cent.
The health authorities reported the latest figures after testing 4,621 samples at 883 laboratories across the country.
On Friday, the test positivity rate was 1.96 per cent.
The country recorded one Covid-related death within the 24-hour span, raising the tally to 29,426.

With the fresh infections, the total caseload reached 20,35,828, according to the daily virus update by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Meanwhile, 230 patients recovered from the infection over the last 24 hours, pushing the overall recovery to 19,82,542.
Bangladesh reported its first cases on March 8, 2020, and the first coronavirus-related death on March 18 of the same year.
