Bangladesh on Sunday launched its largest dedicated COVID-19 hospital at Mohakhali in Dhaka.
Health minister Zahid Maleque inaugurated the hospital around 1:00pm on Sunday.
There are 100 ICU beds and 112 HDU beds in 1000-bed hospital where 500 doctors, 700 nurses, and 700 health workers are kept stand by.
The hospital director Brigadier General AKM Nasir Uddin said that the hospital would admit patients with COVID symptoms and will also provide ICUs for people who need it.
