‘Biryanis of Bangladesh’ festival kicks off at The Westin Dhaka

The Westin Dhaka has launched a culinary exhibition of flavourful biryanis ‘Biryanis of Bangladesh’ from September 1-9 at its Seasonal Tastes restaurant.

Food lovers will be able to experience seven types of Bangladeshi biryanis – Kacchi Biryani, Morog Pulao, Hilsa Polao, Beef Teheri, Akhni Biryani, Prawn Biryani, and Mutton Bhuna Khichuri – during the festival.

The buffet dinner spread has been priced at Tk 6,500 net per person, but guests can avail “Buy One Get One” offers by using credit and debit cards from several partnering banks throughout the festival.

In a statement, The Westin Dhaka also pointed out that due to the current situation and as per government directives, the restaurant capacity is reduced to 50 per cent seating to ensure social distancing and hence prior reservations will be valued greatly.

It also said as per Marriott International’s Commitment to Clean, all sanitization and hygiene measures will also be ensured for the health and safety of both guests and associates.
