A doctor and four nurses at the United Hospital in Dhaka’s Gulshan have contracted the coronavirus.
The Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of that hospital has been shut following the confirmation of the infection of staff members.
Dr Shagufa Anwar, Chief of Communications and Business Development, confirmed the matter but denied the CCU closure.
The doctor said all the departments were functional as usual at the hospital.
