The government has decided to give permission for Covid-19 antigen testing. But antibody testing will not be allowed at this moment.
Health Minister Zahid Maleque made the disclosure while talking to reporters after attending a program at the ministry boardroom on Monday.
“There is no decision yet regarding the rapid testing for coronavirus but arrangements will be made for antigen testing,” he said.
The government is maintaining contact with various countries to import Covid-19 vaccine as early as possible, said the minister.
