A week-long exhibition of the traditional rickshaw painting has started at the Zainul Gallery in the Faculty of Fine Art at the University of Dhaka.
Rickshaws have been a popular mode of transport in the country for a long time.
Rickshaw painting is used to beautify and enhance the appearance of the three-wheelers.
The Department of Drawing and Painting and Bangladesh Folk Art & Crafts Foundation have jointly organised the event.
At the exhibition, 65 artworks of famous artists in the country, including students of the Department of Drawing and Painting, are on display.
The exhibition will continue till October 3 from 10:00am to 4:00pm every day.
