There was a time when clay products would be used in households in both urban and remote areas of the country.
People would use pots, plates, and other household utensils made of clay.
But with the dawn of modernity, the use of such products has slowly disappeared.
Though potters are still trying to survive and keep their ancestors’ profession alive, they are struggling as their products are no longer in high demand.
As a result, some are also switching to alternative professions.
