Westin Dhaka is going to organise a culinary exhibition of various flavourful Biryani dishes from September 1 to 9, said a press release on Tuesday.

The exhibition will present Kacchi Biryani, Morog Pulao, Ilish Polao, also known as Hilsa Polao, Bengali-style fish pilaf, Beef Teheri, prepared with beef authentically will be cooked with mustard oil, small potatoes, Akhni Biryani -- a Chittagong special dish rarely found in Dhaka.

Prawn Biryani, which will be layering rice with a yogurt sauce and spice-marinated shrimps. Despite the simplicities, all biryani dishes are so flavourful that they will make the meal of seasonal taste exceptional.

Biryani, whilst not unique to Bangladesh, will be made authentically with special spices, meat or fish, rice, potatoes at your own choice.

Bangladeshi Biryani is often considered the best in the world and therefore Mutton Bhuna Khichuri and many more will be presented.

The exclusive buffet dinner spread is priced at Tk 6,500 per person and guests can avail ‘Buy One Get One’ offers by using credit and debit cards from several partnering banks throughout the festival.

Prior reservations are a must as the restaurant capacity is reduced to 50 per cent in line with government directives to ensure social distancing.
