51 journalists get PM’s financial support

A number of 51 journalists of the district received the Prime Minister’s financial assistance to cope with the adverse impact of the novel coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic.

Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Mazumder handed over the cheques among the journalists at a function held at Sadar Upazila Parishad Auditorium this afternoon as the chief guest on Friday. Journalists from electronic and print media of the district received the cheque amounting TK 10,000 each, from Bangladesh Journalists Welfare Trust.
