KCC announces Tk 608 crore budget

Khulna City Corporation (KCC) on Thursday announced annual budget amounting Tk 608.03 crore for 2021-2022 fiscal year (FY).

KCC Mayor Talukder Abdul Khaleque announced the budget at a function in Shaheed Altaf Auditorium of Nagar Bhaban in the city.

“No new tax has been imposed in the budget, like previous year,” he said.

President of Finance and Establishment Standing Committee of KCC Councilor Sheikh Md Gausul Azam chaired the function.

Chief Executive Officer (acting) Md Azmul Haque delivered the welcome speech, and screened a video documentation about development works of KCC.

Panel mayors, councilors, leaders of different professional bodies, elite, media personnel, among others, were present at the event.
