5 policemen awarded for professional excellence

Rangpur Metropolitan Police (RpMP) has awarded five of its officials recogniging their professional excellence in discharging duties during August.

RpMP Commissioner Mohammad Abdul Alim Mahmud distributed the awards at the monthly crime assessment meeting held on Thursday at his conference room in the city.

He distributed the crests among the police personnel for their laudable performances in handling crimes and maintaining law and order.

The awarded five policemen are: SI Bibhuti Bhushan Roy of Tazhat police station, ASI Md Shahjahan Hossain of Kotwali police station, Sergeant Md Golam Azam of Traffic, SI Md Abu Saiyum Talukder and Assistant Town Sub-inspector Md Apel Mahmud.
