Father, sons killed as train hits CNG

A man and his two sons were killed as a train hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway in Ashuganj upazila of the district early on Sunday.

The deceased were identified as Sadek Mia, his sons Rubel, 33, and Pabel, 23, hailed from Rajghar area in the upazila.

Police said the accident occurred when a Dhaka-bound Chattogram Mail train hit the CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Talshahor rail level crossing in the area, leaving Pabel dead on the spot and injuring his father and brother.
