Dinajpur General Hospital signs MoU with KOICA

Dinajpur General Hospital signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to facilitate newborn and maternal healthcare.

The South Korean agency, which grants aid programmes for developing countries, signed the MoU on Thursday to facilitate maternal healthcare and Caesarean birth at the hospital by enriching it with modern equipment and facilities.

KOICA is going to provide modern, up-to-date General Anesthesia Machine, Ultrasound Machine, Patient Monitoring Machine, CTG Machine, Diathermy Machine, OT Light Table, Baby Warmer Machine,Baby Suction Machine, and Autoclave Machine to the 250-bed hospital to ensure 24/7 uninterrupted service to the expectant mothers, confirmed Ramond Kuiya, manager of the CHBW project of KOICA.

“We are going to provide the equipment to the hospital within one month,” said the KOICA official.

Superintendent of the hospital Dr Nazmul Islam, Resident Medical Officer Dr Md Parvez Sohel Rana, Admin Officer of Koika CHBU Project, Colins Biswas, Monitoring Officer Subash Kujur, were present at the signing ceremony.
