Lakhshmipur district administration officials have distributed School Health Cards among 304 students of Char Sita Government Primary School, located under the Char Badam union of Ramgati upazila.
The programme took place on Monday afternoon at the school premises to initiate a screening programme to monitor existing health problems of nearly 3,50,000 students of the district through the health card and ensure proper healthcare to them.
The students would be able to get free medical services from any government hospital, said acting Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Ramgati, Md Abul Hasnat Khan while presiding over the programme. Deputy Commissioner of Lakhshmipur, Md Anwar Hossain Akand was a chief guest at the programme
Civil Surgeon Dr Abdul Gaffar, acting Deputy Director of Local Government Division of the District Administration office, Mohammad Noor Alam, Additional Deputy Commissioner Meher Nigar, Deputy Director of Family Planning Department, Dr Ashafaqur Rahman Mamun were present at the programme.
