Bangabandhu book fair inaugurated

Bangabandhu and independent book fair was inaugurated in Panchagarh on Thursday afternoon.

Railways Minister Md Nurul Islam Sujon formally inaugurated the book fair on the ground of the Panchagarh government auditorium as the chief guest.

The Minister, in his speech, said, that our real history of freedom fighters have been misprized after the killing of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on August 15, 1975.

BNP and Jamaat are hatching conspiracy against the country, Sujon said adding the country is progressing fast, but BNP does not see the development.

The lawmaker from Panchagarh-1 constituency Md Mojaharul Houque Prodhan, Superintendent of Police Yousuf Ali, Zila Parishad Chairman Anowar Sadat Samrat, Municipality Mayor Zakia Khatun, and upazila chairman Amirul Islam spoke on the occasion. Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Panchagarh Johurul Islam Presided over the function.
