750 blankets distributed among cold-hit people

Around 750 blankets were distributed among the helpless, madrasa students, orphans and cold-hit people in Natore on Saturday.

Bangladesh Red Cresent Society district unit organised the distribution programme.

Narail deputy commissioner Muhammad Habibur Rahman handed over the blankets to the cold-hit people at Red Cresent Society district unit office premises as the chief guest with chairman of district council, also chairman of Red Cresent Society district unit, Advocate Shorab Hossain Biswas in the chair.

Narail municipality mayor Anjuman Ara, Red Cresent Society district unit secretary Kazi Ismail Hossen Liton, valiant freedom fighter Saifur Rahman Hilu, secretary of district shilpakala academy Maloy Kumar Kundu, Municipality panel mayor Rezaul Biswas, among others, were present of the occasion.
