Suchitra’s 8th death anniversary observed

Actress Suchitra Sen’s eighth death anniversary was observed in Pabna Sadar on Monday morning.

On this occasion, Suchitra Sen Smrity Sangrakhhan Parishad organised a discussion commemorating the works of the legendary actress at Suchitra Sen Sriti Sangraha Sala at 10:30am.

The parishad advisor Zafar Saddique attended the programme as the chief guest while the club president ABM Fazlur Rahman as special guest.

Dr Md Habibullah and journalist Narsh Madhu were also present.

Suchitra Sen spent her childhood and adolescence with her parents and siblings in this house in Hemsagar Lane, Gopalpur Mahalla, Pabna. She married Divanath Sen, a marine engineer, in February 1947.
