9 to die in Naogaon triple murder case

A court in Naogaon sentenced nine people to death and another to life in jail in a triple murder case in Badalgachhi upazila of the district in 2014.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Hasan Mahmudul Islam handed down the punishment this noon.

The convicts are-- Md Saidul Islam, Aizul Haque, Jalal Hossain, Helal Hossain, Belal Hossain, Md Zayed, Abul Hossain, Md Mostafa, Md Sohag Ali and Md Hashem Ali, all are residents of Ujalpur village of the upazila.

According to prosecution, the convicts killed Md Shahidul Islam Dulu, Md Amjad Hossain and Abdul Wadud over land dispute on June 6, 2014.
