Cheques distributed among patients

Cheques were distributed among 53 patients suffering from chronic diseases in Sherpur on Wednesday.

A function was held in the Conference Room of the Deputy Commissioner on the occasion.

Deputy Commissioner Sahela Akter took part in the function as the chief guest. Additional district magistrate Tofael Ahmed was present, among others.

Each of the patients got a cheque worth Tk 50,000 in the function organised by the district Social Service Department.
