Man killed in Sirajganj road crash

The driver of a human hauler locally known as Nasimon was killed and another injured in a road accident that took place on the

Bhuyagaanti-Tarash regional road in the Deobogh area of Raiganj upazila in Sirajganj Thursday morning.

The deceased was identified as Abdur Razzak, 65, a resident of Hajipur village of Sonakhara union of the upazila.

When the human hauler reached the Deobogh area, a bus hit the vehicle from behind around 8am, leaving two people seriously injured, the officer-in-charge (OC) of Salanga police station Abdul Quader Gilani said.

The injured were taken to Raiganj Upazila Health Complex, where an on-duty doctor declared Razzak dead.
