Quantum Foundation (QF) in Rajshahi has launched the services of freezing ambulances aimed at easing the process of transporting bodies safely.
Mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation AHM Khairuzzaman Liton inaugurated the service at the Nagar Bhaban premises on Wednesday as chief guest saying that society and the nation as well will acknowledge the laudable contribution of the QF members forever.
QF Director Kaiser Parvez Mehedi and Executive Members Engineer Rabiul Islam, Prof Monjurul Haque, Asfaque Ali, Saidul Islam and Mamunur Rashid were present on the occasion.
Expressing his gratitude to the QF body for launching the freezing ambulance service, Mayor Liton said there was a lack of such a type of modern ambulance in the city.
He hoped that the modern ambulance will benefit the families’ concerns immensely side by side with infusing dynamism into QF activities.
Anyone can avail of the ambulance service by calling on the hotline number with payment of the scheduled fare.
However, distressed and insolvent families can avail of it free of cost.
