SSC exams begin peacefully in Dinajpur Board

The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations-2022 began peacefully in Dinajpur Education Board on Thursday, 1,696 candidates remained absent and none was expelled on the first day.

Controller of Examinations of Dinajpur Education Board Professor Md Tofazzur Rahman said tight security measures were ensured by deploying members of law enforcement agencies to ensure peaceful holding of the examinations.

"The Bangla (Compulsory) first part examinations were held peacefully at all 277 centres of all eight districts in Rangpur division under the education board," he said.

On the first day, 1,68,011 candidates took part in the Bangla first paper examinations out of a total of 169,707, with the rest remaining absent.

Candidates from 2,675 secondary level educational institutions of all eight districts are taking part in the SSC examinations-2022 under the education board this year.
