RU to launch four new masters programmes

Rajshahi University (RU) has taken the initiative of launching new master’s programmes in four subjects aimed at boosting technological competency among the students in the era of the fourth industrial revolution.

To this end, the students will be transformed into human resources through enhancing their technological skills.

Registrar Professor Abdus Salam said formal activities of the master’s programmes will be introduced as soon as possible under the supervision of the RU Engineering Faculty. The programmes are Cyber Security, Robotics and Automation Engineering, Internet of Things and Data Science Programme.

Vice-chancellor Professor Golam Sabbir Sattar said the main task of any of the universities is to generate competent human resources following the demand of the present era.
