BCL leader denied bail in cattle lifting case

A Dhaka court on Sunday rejected the bail petition of Dhaka District North Chhatra League’s female student affairs leader Babli Akter in cattle lifting case.

Dhaka Chief Judicial Magistrate Sheikh Mujahidul Islam passed the order on Sunday.

Additional public prosecutor Anwarul Kabir Babul confirmed the matter.

Earlier on November 3, the court sent her to jail in the case.

On Wednesday, police arrested the BCL leader conducting raid at Savar Radio Colony area.

She is the 3rd year student of the Department of Social Work at Savar Govt College and daughter of Badsha Mia of Nayabari in Savar municipal area.
