RU gets Pro-VC

Prof Dr Humayun Kabir has been appointed as Pro Vice-Chancellor of Rajshahi University (RU).

A gazette notification was issued by the education ministry on Thursday in this regard. President Abdul Hamid, Chancellor of the university, appointed Dr Humayun Kabir, Professor of Accounting and Information Systems Department of RU, as the Pro-VC for the next four years, reads the notification.

The post had remained vacant for three months since Prof Dr Chowdhury M Zakaria’s tenure expired on 26 July of this year.
