Three killed in Narsingdi road crash

At least three people were killed and nine others injured in a collision between multiple vehicles on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway at Raipura upazila in Narsingdi early Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Sananda Das, 55, son of Dhananjay Das of Dighirpara village, Md Renu Mia, 66, son of Ismail Mia and Md Kamal Mia, 35, son of Kalam Mia of Chouragudha village in Sorail upazila of Brahmanbaria.

According to Bhairab Highway Police sources, the accident occurred around 345 am, when a Bhairab bound passenger bus hit another bus, which was parked beside the road, from behind and it collided with a speeding fish-loaded pick up.
