Blankets distributed among 100 cold-hit people in Narail

Blankets were distributed among 100 poor and helpless families at Narail on Wednesday by the voluntary organisation Anjuman Mofidul Islam.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Narail Muhammad Habibur Rahman was present at the distribution programme as chief guest and handed over the blankets to poor and helpless men and women.

The Deputy Commissioner while distributing the blankets said, the severe cold has been prevailing in the southern districts including Narail for the last consecutive two weeks. The poorer and underprivileged people have been suffering from serious cold.

Anjuman Mofidul Islam has done humanitarian work by giving blankets to the poor, he said urging the affluent persons of the society for extending their helping hands to the poor to mitigate their suffering.

Anjuman Mofidul Islam Narail President Abdur Rashid Munnu presided over the function.

Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Md Jisan Ali were present during the distribution programme.
