After the successful completion of the 10th National SME Product Fair 2022, SME Foundation plans to organise 6 Divisional SME Product Fairs across the country in the current financial year.
As a part of 6 Divisional SME Product Fairs, SME Foundation inaugurated the second divisional SME Product Fair at Barishal Bangabandhu Udyan on Wednesday. About 60 small and medium entrepreneurs will display and sell only local products at 60 stalls at the fair.
The fair will be open for visitors from 10 am to 9 pm every day. It is to be noted that in the current fiscal year, the first 'Divisional SME Product Fair' was organised in Rajshahi on 12-18 January 2023.
The SME Foundation plans to organise a 'Departmental SME Product Fair' from February 14-20, 2023 in Sylhet and later in Rangpur, Mymensingh and Khulna.
All the programs of 'Departmental SME Product Fair 2023' will be implemented under the supervision of the Divisional Commissioner as per the instructions of the Cabinet Division.
State Minister for Water Resources Zahid Farooq MP was the chief guest while Md Masudur Rahman, chairman of the SME Foundation presided over the event.
Md Mofizur Rahman, Managing Director of SME Foundation gave a welcome speech at the event.
Enayet Hossain Chowdhury, member of the board of directors of the foundation, Md Amin Ul Ahsan, Divisional Commissioner, Barishal, SM Aktaruzzaman, DIG, Rajshahi Range, Md Saiful Islam, BPM (Bar) Commissioner, Barisal Metropolitan Police, Md Jahangir Hossain, Deputy Commissioner, Rajshahi and Saidur Rahman Rintu, President, Barishal Chamber of Commerce and Industry were present at the event.
