Shab-e-Qadr observed

The holy night of Shab-e-Qadr was observed with due religious rituals, gaiety and solemnity amid tight security measures across the district Wednesday night.

The Muslim Ummah believes that the most important night of Shab-e-Qadr bears huge importance when Almighty Allah sent the Holy Qur’an, a full code of conduct for humankind, on earth on this night.

Hundreds of Muslims attended discussions on the most meaningful night of forgiveness, fortune, hope and aspiration in the mosques and offered `nafl’ prayers till Fazr prayers and recited from the holy Qur’an.

In Rangpur

Special milad mehfils, `zikrs’ were organised and `tobaraks’ were distributed among Musollis at the mosques both in the city, urban and rural areas.

Khatibs, Imams, Islami thinkers, Olamaye-Kerams and Mashayekhs delivered lectures in special discussions arranged at the mosques after the Esha and Tarabih prayers narrating the spiritual significance of the most blessed night.

A large number of Musollis stayed for the whole night at the mosques and many others offered special prayers and `ziarats’ at the graveyards of their forefathers and departed relatives, friends and nearer and sought forgiveness and eternal peace for all.

In Rajshahi

The holy Shab-E-Qadr, the Night of Decree, was observed in the district and its adjacent areas last night with due religious fervour and solemnity.

Thousands of Muslim devotees offered ‘nafl’ prayers at mosques and homes and recited from the holy Quran in observance of the most meaningful night of forgiveness.

Besides, they sought blessings of Almighty Allah for long life, peace, progress, good health and happiness for themselves, their families, relatives and friends and offered special prayers with hopes of forgiveness from Almighty Allah.

In Jamalpur

The holy Shab-e-Qadr was observed in the district last night in a befitting manner amid tight security measures with due religious rituals, gaiety and solemnity. They offered special munajats seeking divine blessings for forgiveness of the sins committed, long life, peace, progress, good health and happiness for them, their families, relatives and friends and eternal peace for their departed parents and generations.
