Severed body of woman found in Lakhsmipur RHD staff quarters

Police in early Tuesday recovered the severed body of a woman from a residential quarter of Lakhsmipur’s Roads and Highways Department.

Deceased Mamtaz Begum was the wife of later Abdul Motin.

Mamtaz’s husband worked as a driver for the Roads and Highways Department. After the death of her husband, Mamtaj used to live with her two sons in the quarter.

Police, however, detained the woman’s elder son Bappi for interrogation. On the other hand, her younger son Rocky went missing.
