25 injured over selfie dispute in Faridpur

A clash erupted among four villagers of Algi Union in Bhanga upazila after a dispute among teenagers over taking selfies.

The clash, which took place on Friday between 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm, reportedly left at least 25 people injured.

Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and managed to control the situation. Three individuals who were seriously injured were sent to Faridpur Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical College Hospital, while 15 others were admitted to Bhanga Upazila Health Complex.

The remaining injured individuals received treatment locally. According to Ziarul Islam, the Officer-in-charge of Bhanga police station, the clash stemmed from a minor incident.
