Worker dies falling off roof

A construction worker died after falling off the rooftop of an under-construction building in Kashiani upazila of Gopalganj on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Bayjid Sheikh, 30, son of late Jalil Sheikh, resident of Shukurhata village of Alfadanga upazila of Faridpur district.

Witnesses and local sources, Bayjid Sheikh suddenly fell down from the 2nd floor of the under-construction building of Syed Morad Hossain in the area while he was doing electrical work around 1.30pm.
