Paddy procurement begins in Jhalakati

Boro paddy and rice procurement drive of the food department began in Nalchity upazila of the district on Sunday.

Nalchity Upazila Parishad Chairman veteran freedom fighter Md Siddiqur Rahman inaugurated the paddy procurement drive at Nalchity Food Godown Centre in the morning.

District Food Controller Md Nazmul Hossain, in charge of the Upazila Food Godown Md Abdul Jabbar, Alam Khan and Md Mohsin Howlader were present at the programme.
