4 get life term for killing BCL man in Pirojpur

A Pirojpur court on Tuesday sentenced four people to life imprisonment in a case over the killing of a Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activist in Sadar upazila around seven years back.

Pirojpur District and Sessions Judge Md Mahiduzzaman handed down the judgment in presence of the accused, said public prosecutor Farukh Sardar.

The convicts--Dulal Mollah, 40, Saidul Islam alias Sayed Sheikh, 33, Shahidul Islam alias Shahid Sheikh, 36, and Belal Sheikh, 30, are residents of Kadamtala union under the Sadar upazila.
