Protesters have taken a position at Shahbagh to press home their one-point demand, seeking the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her cabinet.

Thousands of protesters marched towards Shahbagh after the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement announced its one-point demand at Shaheed Minar earlier on Saturday.

Coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement announced their one-point demand, terming it as the “demand of students.”

Nahid Islam, Sarjis Alam and other key coordinators of the quota reform movement announced a massive rally at the Central Shaheed Minar in Dhaka.

They also gave a 24-hour ultimatum to reopen all university halls for students.

Elaborating on the points for the non-cooperation movement, he said they would enforce the movement from Sunday.
