Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) on Wednesday formed a ten-members committee to monitor the maintenance of social distance and health guidelines at cattle markets ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.
Ward Councilor Md Mostafizur Rahman of Ward no 19 was made the convener of the body, said a press release.
Eid-ul-Azha, the second largest religious festival of Muslims, will be celebrated in the country on August 1.
Mobile courts will be also operated at the cattle markets to ensure hygiene.
