10 Minute School, an online education platform, has announced a scholarship to facilitate online education for Ummul Qura Alia Madrasha students.
The platform’s Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ayman Sadiq announced the scholarship at Ten Minute School's headquarters on Tuesday.
Under this scholarship, the students of the madrasha — located at Seraj Nagar in Narsingdi’s Raipura Upazila — from sixth standard to Alim class, can do classes online for free in Bengali, English, Mathematics, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and more.
Ayman Sadiq School said, "This scholarship will contribute to ensuring equal right to education for all students in Bangladesh".
The madrasha’s Acting Principal Md Omar Farooq Bhuiyan said, "This initiative will play an important role in improving the quality of education for all the students of our madrasha".
Ummul Qura Alia Madrasha Founder Prof Mohammad Nurul Islam and Youth Opportunities Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Dr Osama Bin Noor also were present at the event.
