11 civil servants transferred in latest reshuffle

In its latest administrative shakeup, the government has transferred as many as 11 bureaucrats.

The orders were issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Monday.

Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Division Secretary Md Mahbub Hossain has been made the Energy and Mineral Resources Division secretary, while Ministry of Women and Children Affairs Secretary Md Sayedul Islam is now the new Agriculture secretary.

Anti-Corruption Commission’s (ACC) Secretary Md Anwar Hossain Hawlader has been made the Women and children affairs secretary, while Bridges Division Secretary and Bangladesh Bridges Authority Executive Director Abu Bakar Siddique will now take charge of the Secondary and Higher Education Division as its secretary.

Rector of Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre (BPATC) Md Monjur Hossain has been made the secretary of Bridges Division and the executive director of Bangladesh Bridges Authority, while Planning Commission Member (Secretary) Ramendra Nath Biswas has been transferred to BPATC as its rector.

Ashrayan Project Director Md Mahbub Hossain has been made the ACC secretary, while Energy and Mineral Resources Division Additional Secretary Abdul Hamid Jamaddar is now the Bangladesh Public Service Commission secretary.

Rajshahi’s Divisional Commissioner (Additional Aecretary) Dr Md Humayun Kabir has been made the chairman (secretary) of the Ministry of Railways, while RAJUK Chairman ABM Amin Ullah Noori has been made its chairman (secretary).

Meanwhile Barishal’s Divisional Commissioner (Additional Secretary) Md Saiful Hasan Badal has been made the Secretary of the Health Education and Family Welfare division.
