Separate mobile courts on Monday sentenced 11 individuals to different terms in jail for adopting unfair means and giving proxies in the recruitment test of the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED).

The written (MCQ) recruitment test for 361 vacant posts of accounts assistants in the LGED was held at 29 centres in the capital on Monday.

During the exams, Executive Magistrates of mobile courts sentenced those applicants for adopting unfair means by using electronic devices and giving proxies.
