As part of the ongoing reshuffle in police, 11 officers – including police superintendents of 10 districts – have been transferred.
The disclosure came on Wednesday in a notification signed by Deputy Secretary Mahbubur Rahman Sheikh of the home ministry’s Public Security Division
According to the notification – Sylhet Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner Azbahar Ali Sheikh has been attached to Rajshahi Range DIG office as a superintendent of police (SP).
Besides, Chattogram Superintendent of Police SM Shafiullah has been attached to Rangpur Range DIG office, Kishoreganj District SP Mohammad Russell Sheikh attached to Rangpur Range DIG office, Manikganj District SP Md Ghulam Azad Khan attached to Rangpur Range DIG office, Bagerhat Superintendent of Police Abul Hasnat Khan attached to Sylhet Range DIG office.
Besides, Magura SP Mashiudaula Reza has been attached to Chattogram Range DIG office, Natore SP Tariqul Islam attached to Khulna Range DIG office, Sirajganj District SP Arifur Rahman Mandal attached to Barisal Range DIG office, Gaibandha SP Md Kamal Hossain attached to Rajshahi Range DIG office, Habiganj District SP Akter Hossain attached to Rangpur Range DIG office and Patuakhali District SP Md Abdus Chalam attached to Barisal Range DIG office.
