A team of the Directorate of National Consumers Right Protection (DNCRP) on Saturday realised Tk 17,000 as fine from 12 business establishments in Bogura Sadar upazila for different irregularities.
The team, led by Assistant Director of the district DNCRP Iftekharul Alam Rizvi, conducted a drive in the Fateh Ali area at noon.
Five shop owners at Fateh Ali Bazar were fined for fraud and the rest were fined for various irregularities, he said.
