Officials of the Chattogram Customs House seized 12 gold bars weighing 1.392kg from Shah Amanat International Airport in the port city on Sunday.
Acting on a tip-off, the officials raided a flight of AirArabia (G9522) which landed at the airport from Sharjah and found the gold bars in an abandoned condition, said Chattogram Customs Deputy Commissioner Abul Kalam Azad.
The estimated value of the gold bars is Tk 1.30 crore, he added.
